The company Andreas Hofer Hochdrucktechnik GmbH is one of the world's leading specialists for high pressure technology. For more than 90 years, the brand has been standing for top quality, constant innovation and high safety standards.
NEUMAN & ESSER has a solid foundation of over 180 years of manufacturing experience; including engineering, design and packaging of reciprocating compressors since the 1920th. NEA’s experienced and flexible in-house engineering team designs each reciprocating compressor according to API 618 or ISO 13631 (API 11P) standards to ensure long-lasting performance and reliability.
Since 1995 NEUMAN & ESSER GROUP (NEA) and Andreas Hofer have worked successfully together as part of a sales cooperation. Both companies combine the technical leadership in their respective markets and the manufacture of specific equipment for customers in niche markets.
2015 the NEUMAN & ESSER GROUP acquired Andreas Hofer together with all rights and obligations. For NEA the purchase of the well-known brand, their products and their know-how of diaphragm compressors, high pressure piston compressors and fittings, provide an addition and an extension to its own portfolio that is 'Made in Germany'.
Customers benefit on the one hand from NEA’s expertise of high flow as well as HOFER's know-how of high pressures on the other hand.

Advantages of HOFER Diaphragm Compressors |
Advanced cooling: The water cooling does not only enclose the gas coolers and cylinders, but also the diaphragm head on the hydraulic side. There are no additional cooling water bores in the diaphragm cover. Thus, the high-loaded diaphragm head is not weakened. |
Valves: HOFER also manufactures valves like shutoff-, non return- safety valves and connecting elements. Thus, HOFER completes the valve panels with own products. |
